Learn about our team

Let us help you!

At the Chiro Practice we will conduct a consultation and examination and will refer for further investigation when necessary (including x-ray and MRI) to gain a thorough understanding of your particular problem and to ascertain if we are able to help.

Our chiropractors are mature and experienced and will only recommend treatment that is proven to be effective for your particular condition.

If you have any queries or preferences as to the types of treatment you receive, feel free to discuss this with your chiropractor.

FIRST VISIT
On your initial consultation you will be greeted at the reception and our friendly staff will help you fill out some paperwork. Dr. Corey Joyce (Chiropractor) will then take you through and and discuss your health problems and any relevant previous health issues before thoroughly examining you.

Your Examination
Your examination may consist of postural analysis, range of motion analysis, orthopaedic testing, neurological testing, and other tests relevant to your visit. At this point it will be decided if you should require X rays. The initial visit should take about 30 minutes.

On your Second Visit we will review all of the exam findings from today’s initial visit.

SECOND VISIT
Your Report of Findings
On your second visit we will go through your report of findings. Here we will let you know if we can help. We will explain what is going on, how we can help, how long it will take and the likely costs. You will also be invited to our health care classes where you can learn some great health tips and advice. Your second visit will again take about 40 minutes.

If you decide you would like to go ahead with care we can start straight away! Call 0422 884 090.

REGULAR VISITS
How Long is a Typical Office Visit?
Once we know exactly what is going on and have discussed your health goals your typical office visits shall take no longer than 10 minutes. You will require multiple visits, more intensely to begin with (intensive phase), and gradually becoming less frequent as we work towards spinal stabilization (corrective phase).

Progress Checks
Progress checks will be done every twelve visits or so in order to objectively assess how you are progressing. This appointment will take slightly longer than your usual visits and done before we make any changes to your care plan.

If you think that you or a loved one is a good candidate for chiropractic care, contact The Chiropractice to arrange a thorough examination in our practice.
