CrossFit & Gym Injuries

Training exposes a fault faster than anything else. We look at why the movement is failing, not just the joint that ended up sore.

  • Chiropractic and remedial massage under one roof, on one plan
  • For people who care how their body operates, not just how it feels today
  • A straight answer about whether to keep training, modify, or rest

What people come in describing

The lift is fine until it is not

Most of these are not one bad rep. They are a fault the body worked around for months, until load found it.

Overhead work your shoulders will not sit under properly
A squat or deadlift where one side always takes more
Lower back that tightens the day after a session, every session
Hips or ankles that will not let you hit depth or position
Niggles you have trained around long enough to call normal
How we work on it

Two sides of the same plan

Structure and soft tissue pull against each other. Treating one and ignoring the other is why niggles come back.

Chiropractic with Corey

A structural and movement exam to find what your body is compensating for, then work aimed at that rather than the sore joint. You will get an honest read on whether to keep training, modify, or hold off.

Posture & structural correction →
Remedial massage with Geraldine

Trigger point and deep tissue work on the muscle that has been carrying the load. Booked on its own for recovery, or before an adjustment so the muscle is not fighting the correction.

Before you book

"Will I have to stop training?"

Usually not entirely. More often it is a change to load or movement for a period. You will get a straight answer at the first visit rather than a blanket rest order.

"It only hurts under the bar"

That is worth looking at. Pain that shows up only under load usually means the fault is in how the movement is organised, and that tends to be findable in an exam.

"Should I book chiro or massage?"

Give us a call on 0466 889 916 and we will point you to the right one.

"Can I get in after work?"

Afternoon appointments run Monday, Wednesday and Friday until 6:30pm. Book online and pick what fits around training.

Stop training around it

One visit, a full exam, and a straight answer about what is limiting the movement.
